Her name means snake skirt, she was a terrestrial goddess of life and death. She gave birth to Huitzilopochtli after being touched by a ball of feathers, after entering the temple where it was sweeping.

Su nombre significa falda de serpiente, era diosa terrestre de la vida y la muerte. Dio a luz a Huitzilopochtli tras ser tocada por una bola de plumas, luego de entrar al templo donde ésta se encontraba barriendo.
